Philip has been referred to as a financial psychologist and a Swiss army knife.  Serving small and medium-sized private enterprises, Philip helps clients understand money to improve their overall well-being.  Bringing over 15 years of experience, Philip provides assurance, advisory and accounting services to owner-operated and entrepreneurial clients.

Philip remains involved with his alma mater, Brock University, where he graduated in 2004 and earned his designation in 2006.  Prior to working with Collins Barrow Toronto from 2011 to 2017 and joining Baker Tilly Nova Scotia in February 2022, Philip worked for other prominent accounting firms.

Through the CPA Financial Literacy program, Philip interacts with the audience during his presentations covering topics for small and medium businesses – helping business owners/managers with key financial management topics and entrepreneur sessions – showing how to make their business successful.

Outside the accounting and advisory world, Philip enjoys being outdoors, with a particular affinity for hiking and canoeing, spending time with his family in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, and giving back to his community.
